I have had many experience with people with cancer. The doctors say that they are doing everything they can to make the person better, but in my opinion, giving people pain medication to numb the pain is not all they can do. They could do more tests than just the first one they do. Surgery just exposes the cancer cells to open air and helps to make it spread even more. Instead of just trying to numb the pain, they should just make the person as comfortable as they can. They should try everything in their power to stop the spreading of cancer cells, but unfortunately they can't do much until the research is done. Cancer research is an important part of society today and I just wish there was more everybody can do with the cancer patients and helping them to get better.
The picture is of my mom. She has been fighting Breast Cancer for the past 3 years and is continuing the fight today.
