Get Ya Popcorn Ready!

Rumors are swirling tonight in Chicago that the Bears have offered, Terrell Owens, aka TO, a contract. This could be good news for a team  who's receiving corps have been nicked up lately.  It also could be considered bad news for a team that seems to be playing good team football right now.  Bringing in a guy like TO could be the devils poison.  There is no questioning TO when it comes to talent and keeping his body in shape.  As seen yesterday when he worked out in Calabasas, California, shirtless at times, but still showing off an incredibly ripped stomach at 38yrs old.
T.O. has made it clear that he only wants to play for a contender, but at this point I think Terrell would be smart to take any contract that is thrown his way. After having no NFL teams show up at his workout yesterday it was kind of like a slice of humble pie for T.O, who's ego often gets the better of him.  I can't blame the Bears for thinking TO could come in an help a mediocre group of WR's until they get healthy. However, how does anyone know how close Owens is to being in game shape? It would probably be a gamble not worth the risk to many organizations, but the Bears could actually make sense as a landing spot for the mercurial wide-out.
