Tiger Down Under

Tiger Woods returns to competitive golf this week in the Australian Open, which will stand as a tune-up for the President's Cup later in the month.  Woods, who claims is finally fully healed from knee surgery, looks to return to playing the type of golf that made him the face of the game over the last decade plus.
It seems that Tiger has done a good job keeping himself out of the spot light, has tried his best to put his past behind him and really work on his game, and himself as a person.  Love him or hate him, you can't deny his talent. The PGA needs Woods as much as Tiger needs them.
There are plenty of really good young players like Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson, and Rory McElroy who will still be playing after Woods retires.  But Tiger is Tiger.  When he plays in a golf tournament people watch.  Ratings show that when Tiger Woods is playing golf on Sunday a lot more people tune in.
That's just the way it is.  Hopefully, Tiger can put his game back together and return to his dominating ways.  Golf is just more fun to watch when he is around.
